This softshell does a good job blocking wind while still allowing enough breathability. The pocket placement is also practical for everyday use.

The 4100R Gannet Earthpro Softshell is water-resistant enough for light rain but breathable enough for active use. It's become my go-to for unpredictable weather days. 

The Gannet has a comfortable fit that works well for daily activities. The cuffs and hem adjust easily, and the overall weight of the fabric feels substantial without being heavy. A good middle-of-the-road softshell option.
